PISD TIA Designation Announcment

Congratulations to Pleasanton ISD’s inaugural Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) recipients. Pleasanton ISD is proud to announce that its Teacher Incentive Allotment has been officially approved, and the district is honored to recognize 36 outstanding teachers who have earned their TIA designation. More than $400,000 in Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) funding was generated just for the 2025-2026 school year.

The Teacher Incentive Allotment is a statewide initiative designed to recognize, reward, and retain highly effective educators while strengthening the teaching profession. Through TIA, designated teachers can earn significant additional compensation based on their level of designation and campus needs. Teachers maintain their current TIA designation for five years, unless they earn a higher designation during that time.

The program also helps districts recruit and retain high-quality educators, particularly in hard-to-staff and high-needs campuses, while ensuring that the majority of funding directly supports teacher compensation.
