PISD is dedicated to being as prepared as possible to prevent and respond to any emergency situation in defense of the physical and emotional safety of our students. Additionally, PISD partners with the City and County officials to serve the broader Pleasanton community in the event of a large-scale emergency event. NIMS protocol will be used in all instances to support efficiency and effectiveness to the benefit of Pleasanton citizens.

The district has supplied each campus office, classroom and bus with a quick reference emergency procedure guide. They will assist staff members to respond appropriately and efficiently during a crisis situation. The multi hazard guides convey information specific to the districts safety policies and emergency procedures.
