What is happening in your PJH Library?

National Read a Map Day

Mrs. Hollis contacted the authors of books in our collection that contain maps and requested maps to display with the books. Maps are a super interesting document to study. Many authors of fantasy include maps in their books to help explain the world they have created. Maps add dimension and interest as well as provide the reader with context. Come see our map display at the front of the library!

Community Bookmark Exchange

Our community bookmark exchange was a great success! Many of our students created beautiful works of art and recommended some fantastic titles! Mrs. Hollis and Mrs. Daughtry from the Jourdanton Junior High library exchanged their bookmarks.

National Oreo Cookie Day

PJHS Library celebrated National Oreo Cookie Day as students who visited the library to check out books enjoyed a snack pack of Oreo cookies.
