Tomorrow is World Autism Awareness Day! Autism is a condition that affects millions of people. While it can present challenges and obstacles, it also brings unique strengths and perspectives. By understanding and celebrating these differences, we can create a more inclusive and compassionate society.

Erica Bernal is the CTE/CCMR Director for Pleasanton ISD. She was diagnosed with MDS in October of 2023 and is currently looking for a donor, as are so many other people. Please consider stopping by and registering to become a blood stem cell donor. It is a 6 minute process and only involves a cheek swab. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

H-E-B recycled plastic bags are still being collected through April 11th! A class from each grade level will win a popsicle party. Please be sure that all bags are pre-counted.

Thursday, March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day! March 21st was chosen because karyotype of DS chromosomes actually looks like a pair of mismatched socks, and it is celebrated on 3/21 because it is 3 copies of the 21st chromosome instead of 2.
