Pleasanton ISD strives to promote a partnership between school, parents, and the community that will help all students in the district succeed. The Superintendent, administrators, and staff believe parents are partners in the education of their children and that parent and family engagement is essential at all levels throughout the school district. Pleasanton ISD will reach out to parents and family members to implement programs, activities, and procedures for the involvement in programs consistent with the requirements of ESSA Section 1116. Such programs, activities, and procedures are planned and implemented through meaningful consultation with parents and community members.
