9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.    1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

 Pre-Kindergarten:

Student must be 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2018 and meet one of the following criteria:
  • Unable to speak and comprehend the English language;
  • Income (Based on the Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines – which means a student who is eligible to participate in the national free or reduced-price lunch program);
  • The child of an active duty or deceased member of the U.S. Armed Forces;
  • The child of a member of the armed forces who was injured or Killed while on active duty;
  • Is or has ever been in the conservatorship of the Department of Family Protective Services
  • Is considered homeless;
  • Is the child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award as:
  • a peace officer
  • a firefighter
  • an emergency medical first responder

 Kindergarten:

Must be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2018

 

All Students (Pre-K, Kindergarten, & First Grade):

  •  Proof of residency with physical address (Ex: current electric, water, or gas statement or a rent receipt)
  • Certified Birth Certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Current Immunization Record
  • Parent/guardian’s valid photo ID
  • Income (Pre-K Only)- For the Household (Pay Check Stubs, Food Stamps or TANF Eligibility letter)
  • Custodial paperwork (if applicable)

A certified birth certificate can be ordered online for the same cost as getting it from the courthouse.  Order online at www.texas.gov.
