"Winning Characteristics" Scholarship	11-Jun-10	$500 to $2,500	Making It Count will offer scholarships to high school seniors who have participated in the Making College & Career Count presentation between and who can exhibit excellence based on the "Winning Characteristics" highlighted in the program. Rice University		Varies	Rice University will meet 100% or need eligibility for families whose income is $80,000 or less. For families whose income is above $80,000 who demonstrate need eligibility 100% of need will be met not to exceed $10,000 total over four years. 30% of the freshman class will receive a merit scholarship. Hazlewood Act		Up to 150 hours of tuition and fee exemptions	This is now available to children of Veterans. The Veteran must have been a Texas resident upon entry into the military, entered the military in the state of Texas or declared Texas as their home of record - honorable discharge - at least 181 days active duty - not be in default on a state educational or federal loan	Click Here!

The 2008 Burger King Scholar Program	Deadline Past	$1,000	Maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent.
