Q: What is the PHS College and Career Information Center?
  • THE PHS COLLEGE AND CAREER INFORMATION CENTER is a resource that provides students, faculty, staff, and parents with information on hundreds of colleges, universities, technical/trade/vocational schools, military opportunities, and employment opportunities. Crucial dates, deadlines, scholarships, testing tidbits, and financial aid opportunities for college can all be found in the PHS COLLEGE AND CAREER INFORMATION CENTER.
  • College, technical/trade/vocational schools, and military and local employment recruiters are scheduled to visit PHS campus regularly and meet in the PHS COLLEGE AND CAREER INFORMATION CENTER. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the many services the PHS COLLEGE AND CAREER INFORMATION CENTER has to offer.
  • We provide access to computers and a number of helpful materials that can be used to research any information that is college or career related. Students can also complete their FAFSA and College Applications in the PHS COLLEGE AND CAREER INFORMATION CENTER.
 

Q: Where is the PHS College and Career Information Center located?

  • THE PHS COLLEGE AND CAREER INFORMATION CENTER is located on the PHS Campus next to the Guidance and Counseling office, Room 501.


Q: When is the center open?

  • THE PHS COLLEGE AND CAREER INFORMATION CENTER is OPEN 8:00 am-4:30 pm on school days.
  • All students are welcome to visit the PHS COLLEGE AND CAREER INFORMATION CENTER before and after school. If students wish to come by during class time, they will need a pass from their teacher. Parents are also encouraged to visit the Center. Please see College and Career Readiness Technician for scheduling during lunch periods.
